  1. Purpose

The purpose of this Code of Conduct is to establish clear standards of behaviour that promote a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment for all learners at El Saadi College.

  1. Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to:

  • Learners

  • Educators and support staff

  • School management

  • Parents, guardians, and visitors while on school premises

  • Islamic values and moral conduct

  1. Learner Code of Conduct

Learners are expected to:

  • Be kind and respectful to others

  • Follow classroom rules and routines

  • Listen to teachers and caregivers

  • Use polite language

  • Play safely and share with others

  • Take care of school property

Learners must not:

  • Hurt or bully others

  • Use bad or abusive language

  • Damage school property

  • Disrupt learning activities

  1. Educator and Staff Code of Conduct

Educators and staff must:

  • Act in the best interests of the child at all times

  • Maintain professional behaviour and boundaries

  • Treat all learners fairly and respectfully

  • Ensure proper supervision of children

  • Follow all school policies and procedures

  • Never use corporal punishment or humiliating discipline

  1. Parent and Visitor Conduct

Parents, guardians, and visitors must:

  • Treat staff, learners, and other parents with respect

  • Follow school rules and procedures

  • Address concerns through appropriate channels

  • Not disrupt classes or school activities

  • Respect school safety and access control procedures

  1. Discipline and Consequences
  • All disciplinary measures will be fair, age-appropriate, and consistent

  • Discipline will focus on guidance, correction, and learning

  • Serious misconduct will be handled according to school policies and applicable law

  1. Safety and Protection
  • The safety and well-being of learners is a shared responsibility

  • Any form of abuse, neglect, or misconduct must be reported immediately

  • Confidentiality will be maintained at all times

  1. Compliance
  • Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in:

  • Verbal or written warnings

  • Meetings with school management

  • Restricted access to school premises

  • Further action in line with school policies

  1. . Policy Review

This Code of Conduct will be reviewed annually or when necessary.
